Pretty much a worthless nut that make a big mess and stink. I would be hulling walnuts if these were english walnuts and quite happy about the task as well. I hate that you really can't do much with those black walnuts. I figure if I have to rake them I should be harvesting them as well but alas they are not your typical walnut and just stink and make a big mess. I don't know what will become of the rooster. He is the one little peep that we almost lost and saved. He was purchased as a pullet and not supposed to be a roo. You know how that goes. So we have a rooster that's full of himself. For now we have a way to keep him and the ladies apart but that doesn't help with his constant cock-a-doodle-doing.Snookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16182676159290565706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6858098726470985070.post-24047110190541183952013-10-16T13:40:07.649-07:002013-10-16T13:40:07.649-07:00We will be taking fall all in. All that standing around the fire pit, hot apple cider, and beautiful countryside that smells of earth and chimney smoke. Love Fall. As for the roo, we aren't really sure what will become of him. My son really likes him a lot and for now we have a way to keep him away from the lady clucks. Have great week June and Happy Fall.Snookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16182676159290565706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6858098726470985070.post-71289382562002646412013-10-16T11:03:21.743-07:002013-10-16T11:03:21.743-07:00Great photos.
