Right now it is rather dried out and soon the fields will hold no more of the amber waves of grain. Harvest is getting started.<br /><br /> The lavender farm was very pretty, settled in the middle rolling wheat and alfalfa fields. A great contrast of color. I did not purchase any but came home inspired to plant more lavender here. Everywhere.
