I had so many photos that I wanted to share that I paired them down and decided to post them in two different sets. I can't believe it was April when I was here last (before yesterdays post). I guess looking back we have done all sorts of things since then. It just doesn't seem like it has been that long. So here goes. A photo update on the happenings around here in June and July.
Where the wheat meets the vineyards. (Last weekend in May) |
Visited the Lavender Farm in early June with my sis. |
Summer time thunder storms and glowing wheat. Beginning of June. |
Beautiful peaches that my sister brought for me all the way from California. |
Beginning of July thunder storms moving in. |
My goodness.. such pretty pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly live in a beautiful part of the country.
The lavender farm tour sounds interesting. Did you buy any lavender there??
Hope the rest of your week is good :)

The countryside is quite stunning certain times of the year. Right now it is rather dried out and soon the fields will hold no more of the amber waves of grain. Harvest is getting started.
DeleteThe lavender farm was very pretty, settled in the middle rolling wheat and alfalfa fields. A great contrast of color. I did not purchase any but came home inspired to plant more lavender here. Everywhere. I have a couple plants but need to think on where I can put more.
Hope you are staying cool.
